About Us

Promotec Torsysteme GmbH has over 30 years of experience in the gate construction sector. Founded in 1978 by Henri and Marie-Anne Guth, Promotec's production began in a rented industrial warehouse near Kehl, manufacturing the first tubular shutters on their own forming press. At the same time, the first roller shutters were being designed. Since then, Promotec have been on a continuous upwards trend. This meant that significant expansion was necessary in 1992, when Promotec constructed their new production facility with a warehouse and administration buildings in an industrial zone in Kehl-Auenheim. Today, high-quality tubular shutters, roller shutters and sectional doors are produced in their 2200 m² production facility at their in-house site. Over 40 members of staff work daily to ensure that our products are consistently high-quality and to offer the best possible service in all areas.
