Composit came about in 1974 as a brainwave of the Belligotti brothers, who had been involved in furniture manufacturing since the 1960s under the Belligotti brand. Today the Belligotti group operates under two market-recognized brands from two different production units: one 13, 000 m² industrial establishment devoted to manufacturing kitchens distributed through the Composit brand; one 6, 000 m² production zone, where bedroom furnishing products are made and sold through the Belligotti brand.
