JCL Paris, founded by the Lin brothers in February 1998 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, is first and foremost a family-run business. The company name is made up of the initial letters of Kévin Lin's three daughters: Julie Catherine Lin and Jennie Camille Lin. Initially, the clothing boutique in Paris, specialized in textile import/export in 2001, then it started trading in clothes in 2005. Nowadays, JCL Paris has some 20 people working for it in France and abroad that design new off-the-peg collections for women every year and manage the procurement logistics aspects.
